Audiovisual presentation of 57 minutes duration and more than 500 photographs.
The island of Papua New Guinea, the third largest in the World, is divided in two. The westernmost part, Irian Jaya, belongs to Indonesia, the other, is an independent state. The main goal was to witness the Sing Sing of Mount Hagen. For several days we had the opportunity to fraternize with over 50 different social groups. Their face painting, their dress, with a great military background, and their dancings deeply moved us. We also explore the Sepik River and ended our tour in the Bismark Sea, diving amongst stunning goldfish.
